A new H-E-B is set to open in Killeen on Friday - with a smokey twist.
The grocery store is 83,000 sq. ft. and located at the corner of Stan Schlueter Loop (FM 3470) and Fort Hood Street (HWY 195).
The store will be like all other H-E-B grocery stores - except it will also be home to a True Texas BBQ restaurant.
The BBQ restaurant will serve in-house smoked meats, salads and sandwiches. The restaurant will also have Texas craft beers on tap.
The new H-E-B will be implementing a Curbside program so people can shop online and pick up at the store. The H-E-B pharmacy will have a drive-thru service.
A gas station and car wash will also be on site.
A floral shop and H-E-B's Texas Backyard will provide people with bouquets, plants, pottery, furniture, grills and more.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting is set for Friday, April 21st at 9 a.m.
