BELL COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

A wreck involving two semi-trucks was causing delays Thursday morning near MM 297 on the northbound lanes of I-35 just south of Midway Drive.

TxDOT spokesperson Jodi Wheatley said the right two lanes and the right shoulder were affected. The inside lane was still open. The access road was open as well. Wheatley advised finding an alternate route.

A TxDOT map showed northbound traffic was backed up to MM 290.

Temple Fire & Rescue spokesperson Thomas Pechal said a Scott & White EMS ambulance also received minor damage after being struck by a passing vehicle on North General Bruce Drive.

It's unclear what caused the wreck or if anyone was injured.

Wheatley said traffic between Belton and Temple was back to normal as of 10:08 a.m.
