Baylor Women's Basketball Hosts NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

The No. 2/5 ranked Baylor Lady Bears and the Tip Off Club, combine to host a watch party for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show on Monday, March 13, inside the Stone Room at the Ferrell Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. (CT) and the event is open to the public.

Those in attendance can watch the 64-teams revealed with the team and staff. The NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship bracket will be announced live on ESPN beginning at 6 p.m.

    The National Champion University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football team was a consensus #2 pick in both of the major Division III polls following the 2017 season. The Cru matched the second-highest final ranking in program history after closing out the season with a 12-0 loss to Mount Union in Stagg Bowl XLV last Friday in Salem, Virginia. Carter scored a Texas A&M-record 46 points, including the game-winning shot, in the Aggies’ 75-74 win over Southern California on Friday.   Carter, went off for the most points for any Division I freshman since Elena Delle Donne of Delaware scored 54 points in the 2009-10 season.
