A Temple police officer was treated for minor injuries after being hit by a driver Saturday night.
The incident happened at 11:58 p.m. on the 5400 block of S. Interstate Highway 35. The officer was responding to a traffic accident when a car hit her. The officer was outside of the patrol car when she was hit.
The officer was taken to Baylor Scott & White and treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the car was taken into custody for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
