A source said the woman murdered in Bellmead was beheaded on Thursday.

According to a veteran lawman close to the investigation, 21-year-old Natasha Dauzat was beheaded by her husband, and her head was kept in a freezer.

Covered in blood, 23-year-old Davie Dauzat surrendered to police after a standoff.

Two toddlers, a 1-year-old and 2-year-old, were found in the residence once police made it inside. Those children are now in CPS custody.

On Natasha's Facebook page, her about section reads, "I'm the happiest girl ever with an amazing husband and kids and I love them."

News Channel 25 talked to Natasha's mother, Patricia Tagliarino, who said the family is coming to help take care of the children.

Tagliarino said that the couple had moved to Bellmead a little over a year ago.

She said her daughter loved her two young children with all of her heart, and that she was a good mother to them.

Tagliarino added that Natasha showed up at her house with a black eye a couple of months ago, but said it was a head-butt from her baby.

The incident happened at a mobile home park on 4300 block of Concord Rd.

People who live in trailers have been allowed in with the assistance of a police escort.

Davie Dauzat's bond is set at $500,000.
