Five men rob Waco business at gunpoint

Police are looking for five potentially armed men who robbed a Waco business and sent two to the hospital.

Waco Police were called to Beads at the 600 block of North New Road just before 3 a.m. Saturday.

According to Sgt. Thomas of Waco Police, the group of five men, ranging in ages 20-25 years old, entered the game room just before it closed. There were several patrons and employees present at the time.

After standing by the front desk for a short time, one of the three suspects  went to the front door and signaled the waiting other two suspects to enter the store. 

 At this point, two additional black male suspects enter the stores and displayed handguns. 

Officers say at least one member of the group used a gun to strike an employee and a patron. Both were sent to the hospital with several lacerations to the head. A girlfriend of an employee was also hurt after one of the suspects kicked her in the face.

In a press release from Sgt. Patrick Swanton, the suspects are described as five black males. 

The first suspect is approximately 6'0, weighing about 160, wearing a black t-shirt, a grey undershirt, blue gym shorts, blue Jordan tennis shoes, white socks. That suspect also had braided hair, collar length, in a ponytail, and a goatee.

The second suspect is approximately 6'0 and weighs about 245. He was wearing a grey collared shirt, blue jean shorts, black/white Jordan tennis shoes, and white socks. He had very short hair.

The third suspect is approximately 5'10, weighing about 160. He was wearing long sleeve dark blue shirt, black pants, and unknown tennis shoes. That suspect had short hair and a mustache. 

The fourth suspect was approximately 6'0, weighing about 235  wearing a white tank top, black ball cap, blue jean pants, black tennis shoes, white socks. He also had short hair.

The fifth suspect is described as approximately 6'0, weighing 210. He was wearing a black ball cap, black long sleeve shirt, black pants and black Jordan tennis shoes.  

The group of robbers ransacked the store and attempted to remove a monitor displaying surveillance footage. The group left with money from the cash register, slot machines, a safe as well as two cellphones. They were last seen in a black Nissan, driving south on New Road.
