Funeral for Copperas Cove police chief on Friday

COPPERAS COVE, TX (KXXV) -

Copperas Cove Police Chief Tim Molnes passed away Monday afternoon. His funeral will be held on Friday, June 3, at 10 a.m. at Copperas Cove High School's Lea Ledger Auditorium.

Interment will follow at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.

Also, a public viewing will be held on Thursday, June, 2 from 5-8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. 

Molnes passed away surrounded by family from a lengthy illness.

Chief Molnes dedicated over 36 years of his life to public safety and served the citizens of our community since 1999.
