Waco police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in a convenience store robbery.

Police said two suspects wearing t-shirts wrapped around their faces entered Sammy's Food Mart on Bagby Avenue last Tuesday night.

In the video, one of the suspects points and fires a gun at the store clerk who is off camera. The clerk was shot in the chest.

The suspects run to the register and grab money and the owner's gun. They fled the store on foot.

Miraculously, the owner survived the shooting. A store employee said after he was shot, he laid on the floor playing dead until the suspects left the store.

Police are asking citizens to pay close attention to the multi-colored flower boxer shorts that could be a possible identifier.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective C. Price at (254) 750-7615 or Waco Crime Stoppers at (254) 753-4357.
