A trailer full of stolen items from a local church was one of the items found that may have led to the busting up of a burglary ring.
McLennan County deputies arrested Brandon Mahoney, 32, Tuesday after finding that cargo trailer, as well as another trailer carrying a Polaris ATV worth $13,000 that was also stolen. The cargo box trailer was apparently stolen from Meadowbrook Baptist Church.
That stolen property was discovered Monday in Bruceville-Eddy. Investigators are trying to determine who the stolen property belonged to and return the items to their rightful owners.
Mahoney was booked into the McLennan County jail and was being held on a $75,000 bond for possession of stolen property.
Sheriff Parnell McNamara said tips from the public helped catch that suspect.
