The father of a Waco student is arrested after his daughter went to school with visible bruises. Alfredo Alcala, 35, was arrested by Waco Police after school officials noticed marks and bruises on his daughter. The girl, who is under the age of fifteen, told them she had been hit with an extension cord and broomstick. The school called Child Protective Services and reported the situation. Alcala was arrested without incident in the 1900 block of Richter. He is charged with injury to a child.
