Police have arrested the third man accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl this past New Year's Eve.
27-year-old Charlie Moreno was arrested overnight Monday on a warrant that had been obtained earlier. Julian Ramirez and Johnny Melvin Fields Jr. were arrested back in January in the case.
Waco PD Sgt. Patrick Swanton says the incident happened on New Year's Eve 2014, when Fields Jr., Moreno, and Ramirez took a 16-year-old girl to a local nightclub.
Police report after a while, the teen got into a car with the three men and they went to various places around town, eventually ending up at a North Waco home, where the three men allegedly had sex with her.
Police began their investigation shortly after the incident. Since the girl was transported to multiple locations, police charged the men with trafficking.
