Unshaven deputies from Brazos County precincts raised money in support of the Brazos Church Pantry in Bryan.
Participants in the No-Shave November challenge ditched their razors for the month for cash donations.
“These are people who serve the county’s residents on a daily basis. It’s who they are," said Precinct 2 Constable Donald Lampo. "It’s only natural that they would want to take part in a way to give back even more."
Each of the four precincts are continuing to collect donations until Friday. The exact total will not be available until that time. The scruffy-bearded deputies will reclaim their clean-shaven look in December.
