Roads reopen after natural gas line was hit near H-E-B in Killeen

KILLEEN, TX — Roads are now cleared after a natural gas line was hit near H-E-B in Killeen.

According to Killeen police, the call came in at 6:19 p.m. that a car hit a natural gas line in front of H-E-B off of 1101 W. Stan Schlueter Loop.

A woman was attempting to turn into H-E-B when she lost control and hit the natural gas line. She was taken into custody for under the influence testing, police said she appeared to be intoxicated.

Atmos Energy capped the natural gas line quickly and will have a crew to repair it Tuesday night.

No injures were reported.

The scene was cleared at approximately 7:30 p.m.
