KILLEEN, TX — Killeen ISD police are investigating after two students got into a car with a stranger last week.

According to the district, two middle school students were picked up near Brookhaven Elementary School by an active-duty Fort Hood soldier.

The military authorities are also working the case and will be taking action against the man.

No children were harmed, but the district wants to remind parents to talk to their children about never getting into a vehicle with a stranger.

The district said they aren't sure if the man will be charged by their police department, but he has been banned from all Killeen ISD campuses.

If he comes onto one of their campuses, he will be charged with criminal trespassing.
