AUSTIN, TX — A 15-year-old could face arson charges after starting a fire inside a school trash can.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office says the 15-year-old student confessed to the fire in an outside plastic trash can at McNeil High School.
The teen will be suspended. according to the sheriff's office. He was sent to an alternative school.
The sheriff's office says school resource officers will conclude their investigation and file charges accordingly.
