Micah Fleet

Micah Fleet joined KXXV as Sports Anchor in October of 2017, but his journalism career started when he was 15-years-old in Memphis, TN.

WHBQ hired him as a producer for Ole Miss and Redbird (St. Louis Cardinal AAA Affiliate) baseball and it was there he fostered his love for sports journalism.

While attending Washington and Lee University (Lexington, VA), Micah served as Sports Director for the campus radio station, play-by-play and color commentator for various sports teams, and captain of the Generals football team.

After graduating with a Bachelor's in journalism, Micah immediately started his career as a sports reporter for the ABC affiliated WAPT News in Jackson, MS. There he covered everything from NCAA recruiting scandals and Women's Final Four visits to a high school volleyball team that hadn't lost a state championship in three years.

Micah is most excited about meeting the people of central Texas who wowed him with their passion for sports and friendly demeanor during his previous visits.

When not stalking the sidelines and asking fans for their interesting stories, you can find Micah on the golf course or playing/enjoying live music.
