Maggie Lohmiller is a general assignment reporter for KXXV Central Texas News Now. Born and bred in Massachusetts, she is excited to work on stories that impact residents in the Lone Star State.
Prior to coming to KXXV, Maggie worked as the Special Projects Producer at WFSB in Connecticut, where she focused on delivering viewers strong investigative stories and shedding light on consumer issues. She then moved on to work at Western Mass News WGGB-TV in Springfield, Massachusetts, where while working in this position, she covered the heart-wrenching stories of lives cut short by the national heroin epidemic, uncovering the latest in the court system, and cold cases.
Maggie attended Anna Maria College before getting her masters in journalism from Quinnipiac University. While in graduate school, she also interned at WFSB and for the Connecticut Health I-Team.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys cooking, wine tasting, traveling and playing with her dog Charlie.
