VAN, TX — A portion of Interstate 20 crumbled from erosion forming a large hole in East Texas.
The Van Fire Department said the sinkhole is in the inside lane of the eastbound side at mile marker 545.
The formation has caused the Texas Department of Transportation to shut down all eastbound I-20 traffic in the Van area.
