LAREDO, TX — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help in locating a missing Laredo man.

Thirty two-year-old Hector Dominguez was last seen walking from his home in South Laredo late at night on September 23,

The FBI says Dominguez called a family member around 1:45 a.m. on September 24 saying he was on his way home, but he never arrived. Through the course of the investigation, agents discovered Dominguez had been in Nuevo Laredo in the state of Tamulipas, Mexico before his disappearance.

Dominguez is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, approximately 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos, including the name "Maria" on the back of his neck and "Papi Chulo" on the left side of his neck. He has a large tattoo of clowns on his left arm, the name "Jackie" on his right hand, and the name "Hector" and the number seven on his left leg.

Dominguez is a U.S. citizen and a predominantly Spanish speaker.

After his disappearance, Dominguez's family received ransom demands for money from individuals in Mexico. The family was unable to meet those demands because the amount exceeded their financial means.

Anyone with information on Dominguez's whereabouts is asked to contact the FBI San Antonio Division at (210) 225-6741. Tips can also be submitted online. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
