GRAND PRAIRIE, TX — Beto O'Rourke will hold a "Rally Against Fear" on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Theatre at Grand Prairie.
Those who wish to attend can RSVP here.
The event was announced as a counter-rally to President Trump's "Keep America Great" campaign event in Dallas happening on the same day.
The Beto campaign says the rally is meant to counter the "hatred and division on the night he [Trump] tries to spread it across the battleground state of Texas."
In February, the two both held events in El Paso, Texas. Trump was holding a rally on expanding the U.S.-Mexico border wall, while O'Rourke hosted thousands of people at a nearby baseball field.
If you’re in Dallas, and want to stand up to his hatred and bigotry, be a part of our Rally Against Fear tomorrow night. We will show President Trump he doesn’t represent Texas—and he doesn’t represent America. https://t.co/YgIyXWFVb3 https://t.co/hgTVZ6ZzgK https://t.co/d5nSvkEsML
