ROBINSON, TX — The combined Woodway-Hewitt-Robinson SWAT team served an arrest warrant on a 65-year-old man for impersonating a federal agent.

According to the Robinson Police Department, on Friday, September 13, officers responded to the 100 block of Flat Creek Drive. Police say a 65-year-old man called the department for a complaint against one of his neighbors.

The man, later identified as Jeffrey Lange Kash, told dispatchers and officers arriving on-scene that he was a federal agent. Kash allegedly made threatening comments to the officers regarding a neighbor who resides in the area.

Robinson PD says Kash displayed credentials identifying himself as a federal agent. Officers seized the credentials.

A further investigation led to an arrest warrant and search warrant being issued for Kash and his home.

Around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, the combined Woodway-Hewitt-Robinson SWAT team served an arrest warrant for Kash.

Robinson PD says Kash was taken into custody without incident. Officers then searched his residence.

Kash was transported to the McLennan County Jail for impersonating a public servant, a third degree felony.

Robinson PD says further investigation is pending.
