MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX — The McLennan County Sheriff's Office arrested a man after an hour-long pursuit Tuesday morning.

Sheriff Parnell McNamara said around 2 a.m., a deputy was attempting to pull over a vehicle for an expired registration. However, the driver, 60-year-old Joseph Dale Dulock, did not pull over.

The chase continued into Bosque County and headed east on Highway 56 toward Whitney. Dulock then tried to lose officials on gravel roads, but continued on Highway 6 towards Valley Mills.

Deputies deployed spikes during the pursuit and all four tires blew out, but Dulock continued driving.

McNamara said the vehicle was on all four rims heading into Valley Mills. The pursuit then ended around Highway 6 and Highway 185 Tuesday morning.

Dulock was arrested and transported to the McLennan County jail.

He was charged with evading arrest and his bond has not been set yet.

Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the pursuit.
