WACO, TX — (UPDATE) Police say Ditmore has been found safe.

The Waco Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man who disappeared after going on a drive.

Sean Donovan Ditmore was reported missing Tuesday afternoon after not returning to a family member's house when he was expected to.

Ditmore does not live in Waco. He came down over the weekend to help his brother move.

On Tuesday, he told family members he was going to drive around for a little sight seeing and would be back later that afternoon, but never returned. He also left his cellphone.

His family says it is not unusual for him to drive around and explores, but it is highly unusual for him not to communicate where he is going.

Ditmore is 33-years-old, 5 feet 5 inches, and roughly 135 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue button-down shirt and blue jeans. He left in his vehicle, which is a white 2014 Chevrolet Cruz with Texas license plate DZB-7646.

If you see him or know his whereabouts please contact the Waco Police Department at (254)750-7500 or Sgt Key with the Special Crimes Division at (254)750-7610.
