TEMPLE, TX — Temple police said a dog helped ward off a suspect who was reportedly assaulting its owner.
On Monday night, a woman reported that her neighbor forcibly entered her apartment and began touching her inappropriately. Police said her dog came to her aid, chasing the neighbor away.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the neighbor at his apartment, who was wearing exactly what the victim described. Police said he denied going into the victim’s apartment.
Temple police said they are actively investigating the report.
