Alicia Naspretto is an award-winning journalist who started with 25 News KXXV in November 2021 from a station in Central Nebraska where she served as a Weekend Anchor and Bureau Chief.
In 2021, she won a Nebraska Broadcasters Association award for her story about a school who surprised a student with a new wheelchair. Alicia loves to share human interest stories and bring attention to positive events in the community.
During May 2022, she took over the Open Conversation segment at 25 News and now works to raise awareness on mental health concerns and to help break the stigma around those conversations.
Outside of her job Alicia loves spending time with her dog, reading, and traveling. She hopes to visit all 50 states and seven continents.
Her professional goal is to become an International Correspondent for a U.S. news network.
