STILLHOUSE HOLLOW - A Fort Hood Soldier was killed Sunday evening when he lost control of his motorcycle while riding across Stillhouse Hollow Dam
Around 5:30 p.m., 27-year-old Captain Curtis Edmond Armstrong was riding northbound on FM 1670 when he entered a curve at an unsafe speed. He struck a guard rail, throwing himself from the cycle and was then runover by his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle.
Armstrong was pronounced dead at the scene.
