Dr. Charles A. Shoultz, Jr., earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, as well as residency training in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Shoultz completed his fellowship training in cardiology at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He completed nuclear training at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD, and he served as Major in the USAF MC. Dr. Shoultz has fulfilled several teaching appointments and is currently the Clinical Associate Professor of Family Practice and Family Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and the Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Dr. Shoultz is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a member of several medical societies including: McLennan County Medical Society, Texas Medical Society, Teas Club of Internists, American Society of Internal Nuclear Cardiologists, and American Society of Nuclear Cardiologists. He is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty of Cardiovascular Disease and is also a licensed nuclear cardiologist. Dr. Shoultz currently practices at Waco Cardiology Associates in Waco, Texas.
