Sheriff's office: Man arrested, charged with aggravated robbery

A man was arrested and charged on Wednesday after a report of an armed robbery that happened on Tuesday.

According to the Falls County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a report of an armed robbery was received. It took place at a Quick-N Convenience Store at the 500 block Live Oak Street in Marlin.

After officials received more information, an arrest warrant being issued for 32-year-old Christopher People.

On Wednesday, Sheriff Scaman made contact with an individual who was able to get Peoples to meet with officials. At approximately 4:30 p.m., Peoples was taken into custody without incident on the charge of aggravated robbery.

He was transported to the Falls County Jail. His bond is set at $250,000.
