Families roared with excitement Friday night as Dinosaurs Live came to St. Joseph Catholic School in Killeen.

The school opened its doors to the public for tons of educational exhibits, fun games, snacks and even face painting.

Dinosaurs Live is a free traveling event that the school said really helps bring the community together.

“Part of what we really try to teach at this school is to give back. This allowed us to open up our doors to the community and provide some of our families and our children an opportunity that they otherwise wouldn’t have had,” said Sabrina Hagains, the Parent Teacher Council President.

The dinosaurs were only here for one night but the exhibit does travel and is free to any school that would like to host them for the night.
