A man was arrested after police said he was involved in a motel robbery Wednesday night.
According to Killeen police, at approximately 10:44 p.m., officers responded to La Quinta Inn located at 1112 S. Fort Hood Street regarding a robbery.
Police said a man entered the lobby and demanded money from the desk clerk while displaying a weapon. The clerk cooperated and the suspect then fled on foot.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., officers located the suspect, identified as Raymond James, 34, in the area of Hallmark Avenue, and he was taken into custody without incident.
James' bond is set at $100,000.
