The 70s returned on our Valentine's Day!

It has been a bit breezy and that will continue tonight into Friday. However, these winds are from the southwest, so it's really warming us up!

Lows Thursday night should stay in the 50s with highs Friday...are you ready for this...in the 80s!  The record high Friday is 83 (1957).  I think many locations, especially along and west of I-35, will be very close to that number!

Of course, it's still winter, so a cold front will crash the party late Friday afternoon into Friday evening.

Temperatures will fall into the 50s with breezy north winds moving back into the area.  We should bottom out in the 30s Saturday morning, so this will be a big change in just 12-18 hours.

Saturday should bring mostly cloudy skies with highs in the 60s across the southern half of Central Texas and 50s across the northern half of the area.  We should warm up a bit more Sunday with all of the region back in the 60s.

Colder and wetter weather is poised to return Monday into Tuesday, so the roller coaster ride of weather will continue into next week!
