A man was arrested after police said that he threatened a Robinson resident and sexually assaulted a child.

Robinson police said that Cordell Dalrymple was accused of aggravated assault during an encounter with a resident on Nov. 27, 2018. According to police, the victim said Dalrymple came to their residence after 2 a.m. The victim said that Dalrymple pulled out a gun and pointed it at her, threatening to "take care" of her infant or significant other.

Police said that Dalrymple had assaulted the victim's significant other the week before.

On Jan. 20, two people came to police and said that Dalrymple had sexually assaulted their 7-year-old son when he had stayed at their home overnight.

Dalrymple was arrested on Feb. 9. His bond was set at $200,000 and is being held at the McLennan County Jail.
