An Iowa woman was found guilty by a jury in the death of her infant son, according to The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.

The report said that it took four hours of deliberation to find 21-year-old Cheyanne Harris guilty of first-degree murder and child endangerment causing death.

Authorities said that her 4-month-old son was found dead in a swing set in the back bedroom of her apartment in August 2017.

There were insects in his diaper showing that he hadn’t been changed, bathed or picked up in nine to 14 days.

They also found that the boy died half a day to a day before the 911 call, according to the report.

The boy’s father, Zachary Koehn, was found guilty of first-degree murder and child endangerment resulting in death in November 2018.
