Wanted man accused of fracturing 9-month-old's skull captured in Killeen

A San Marcos fugitive accused of injuring a 9-month-old was arrested in Killeen on Monday.

According to the Austin America-Statesman, 19-year-old Richard Blythe was arrested by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, which are local and federal law enforcement officers. 

He is accused of severely injuring a 9-month-old after the child was found to have skull fractures, broken ribs and liver injuries.

Blythe was sought after by San Marcos police on Jan. 18.

He was booked into the Bell County Jail on Monday and is being returned to Hays County.

He is charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injuries.

His bond is set at $150,000.
