The Mills County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of multiple ATVs and UTVs from Hoffpauir Outdoor Superstore in Goldthwaite.

The suspect(s) stole Polaris UTVs and one Cub-Cadet ATV. Police said they stole a total of eight UTVs from the lot in the early morning hours of Jan. 27. Surveillance video caught photos of a newer model white Ford crew-cab pickup towing a white cargo trailer. The sheriff's office said they suspect more vehicles are involved.

Police said evidence shows that the vehicle possibly left Goldthwaite and went south towards San Saba.

They said the crime is similar to another theft that happened in Seguin. Seguin police said that on Feb. 4, someone stole two green John Deere lawnmowers valued at more than $16,000 and three green John Deere four-wheelers valued at more than $34,000 from a business.

The suspect in that case was also driving a light crew cab pickup pulling an enclosed trailer.
