No. 18 Texas A&M looks to tie an SEC-era school record when it puts a seven-game win streak on the line 6 p.m. Thursday, February 7 at Missouri in a women’s basketball game.

The game is broadcast on SEC Network with Pam Ward, Carolyn Peck and Steffi Sorensen on the call. The game is also available through WatchESPN and the ESPN app on smartphones, computers, tablets and connected devices (Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One). Radio listeners can hear Tom Turbiville and Steve Miller on the Texas A&M Sports Network, broadcast locally in Bryan-College Station on Zone 1150 AM/102.7 FM, and online at 12thMan.com. Additionally, SiriusXM subscribers can tune into Sirius 94/XM 190.

Texas A&M (18-4, 7-2 SEC) would tie the school's longest win streak in SEC play with a win at Mizzou Arena Thursday. The Aggies' current seven-game conference win streak is the school's second-longest since joining the league in 2012-13, and the longest since winning eight straight SEC games in 2013.

A&M’s Kayla Wells enters the game as the SEC’s most-improved scorer, increasing her scoring average from 2.8 in 2017-18 to 13.8 points per game this season. Wells has scored at least 13 points in each of her last five games, averaging 16.3 points per game in that span.

“We have to go into Missouri focused, it’s a tough place to play, especially since they just lost,” said Wells. “We’ve been playing good defense, and defense wins games. The defense has been a big part of the win streak.”

In addition to Wells, the Aggies are bolstered by Chennedy Carter, the SEC’s leading scorer at 21.8 points per game. Carter is one game away from becoming the fourth Texas A&M player in the past 28 years with 30 consecutive games of scoring at least 10 points.

Missouri (16-7, 5-4 SEC) enters the game on a six-game home winning streak, and is led by Sophie Cunningham, who averages 16.5 points per game. The three-time All-SEC selection ranks third in league games in scoring (17.4) and first in 3-pointers made (26)—but she also has fouled out six times this season.

The Aggies won last season’s matchup 82-63 on Senior Day in College Station, with Carter scoring a game-high 23. Cunningham scored 19 and fouled out in the game. Despite the Aggies’ double-digit wins last season and in the 2017 SEC Tournament Quarterfinals, the three matchups in the series prior to that have come down to the final second of regulation.
