The Heart Gallery of Central Texas relies on volunteer photographers as well as community members to showcase the portraits in the gallery, and they need your help.
The beautiful portraits of Central Texas News Now "Forever Families" children Avelynn, Matthew, Isaiah and just this week Jacoby, have all been removed from the Heart Gallery as they begin their next chapter of adoption.
But new pictures are added to the gallery every day.
"There are all kinds of people out there. All kinds of kids and they're just looking for the right family," said Heart Gallery Administrator Marilyn Griggs.
Griggs administers the Heart Gallery of Central Texas and is a photographer herself.
"I've gotten several people that say we're adopting this child from something we saw in the Heart Gallery," Griggs said.
In Region 7, the Waco, Temple and Killeen area needs more volunteer photographers. Learn more here.
They also need businesses, churches and individuals who will host the traveling exhibit. Learn more here.
The Heart Gallery books can even be sponsored individually or in someone's honor. Learn more here.
It's all an effort to help raise awareness for the 225 plus children featured in The Heart Gallery of Central Texas, a program of Partnerships for Children.
"They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and these are invaluable," said Griggs.
"Forever Families" airs every Wednesday at 6:30 pm on Central Texas News Now.
