BELTON LAKE, TX (KXXV) -

Arrangements have been made for the veteran whose body was found at Belton Lake on Tuesday.

Authorities confirmed that the body found at Belton Lake was Scott Weinhold.

A memorial service for Weinhold is set to take place on Saturday at the Moody Leon Methodist Church at 3 p.m. A celebration of the life of Weinhold will be held in New Hampshire at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like all direct donations to be donated to Team Texas K9s in Troy.

The Bell County Sheriff’s Department said Justice of the Peace Theodore R. Duffield ordered an autopsy on the body.

The family was notified by authorities.

Weinhold’s body was found near Kelton Spahler’s body across from Sparta Valley Park.

Williamson County Game Warden Joel Campos said a body was pulled out of the lake Tuesday afternoon.

The body was not identified until a justice of the peace was on the scene.

Crews have been searching for Weinhold’s body since Jan. 21 when his boat capsized after a fishing accident.
