10th-ranked Baylor men’s tennis (5-0) will open its three-match homestand against South Florida Friday at 6 p.m. CT at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.

Free pop sockets will be given away to fans at the door while supplies last.

The Bears are 19-1 in their last 20 home matches dating back to the 2017 season and look to improve on their perfect 3-0 start in Waco.

Four Bears come into the match with perfect dual-match singles records, including Sven Lah (5-0), Constantin Frantzen (4-0), Jimmy Bendeck (3-0) and Will Little (3-0). The Bears hold an impressive 88.9 win percentage in singles (24-3) while putting up a 81.8 win clip in doubles play (9-2).

Frantzen and Matias Soto lead all players in doubles action with a 3-0 record. Meanwhile, third-ranked Bendeck and Lah are 1-0 together in the dual-match season.

South Florida comes into the match with a 2-2 overall record and are on a two-match losing streak. The Bulls opened the season with victories over Florida Gulf Coast and Nicholls State before falling to Penn State and Georgia State last weekend.

South Florida went 10-16 overall last season and ended their season in the American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship match. The Bulls have one ranked singles player in No. 43 Alberto Barroso-Campos, an all-conference player from a season ago.

The Bears are 7-0 all-time against the Bulls with Baylor winning both meetings last season. First, BU blanked the Bulls in Waco, 4-0, but then won a thriller, 4-3, at the BNP Paribas Open Collegiate Challenge in Indian Wells, Calif.

Following the South Florida match, the Bears will play a doubleheader against Nebraska and UTRGV on Sunday. Those matches are slated for an 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT start, respectively.
