Belton residents will see a rate increase for trash and recycling on their bill next month.
The City Council approved a 57 cent rate increase on Tuesday.
Residents currently pay $16.59 for trash and recycling service.
City leaders say the rate increase is due to the rising cost of disposing of recyclables in the global market.
