A mother in Idaho is concerned about the safety of her child and others after her child's sippy cup exploded.

Dzevada Becirovic says she went to pick up the cup when it shocked her. Upon further investigation, she discovered the lithium battery that made the cup light up had exploded.

"It's seriously the scariest thing to think about your child getting hurt and buying something like that," Becirovic said. "Like, you don't... You just don't expect it."

Becirovic says she wants the company that made the cup, Luv N' Care, to recall cup. But Luv N' Care, says they don't believe it is dangerous. They claim Becirovic did something to cause the cup's malfunction.

Becirovic insists that she only washed the cup and did nothing else that would create the explosion.

Luv N' Care's parent company wants Becirovic to send it the cup so they can do a full investigation.
