A Killeen ISD student was arrested after making a written bomb threat.
Killeen ISD said it happened Wednesday as the 16-year-old student was traveling to Killeen ISD Career Center on a bus.
The threat was determined to be a hoax and the student was arrested and charged with terroristic threat, a felony.
The district sent this message to parents from principal Russell Porterfield;
This morning before 9 o’clock, on school bus number 515 traveling from Killeen High School to the Career Center, a student wrote down a bomb threat on the student sign-in sheet. The threat was a hoax. Killeen Police and KISD Police investigated, students were searched, and the student who made the anonymous written threat was identified and he confessed.
