Police in Bloomington, MN said they are looking into the ex-boyfriend of missing Temple woman Jenna Scott to see if he is connected with another woman's disappearance.

Police said that the case has been open and active since she went missing in March of 2009 in Minnesota. The woman, April Pease, had a child with Cedric Marks, Scott's ex-boyfriend. She was 39 years old when she went missing.

In 2009, police said they questioned Marks, and he provided an alibi. After the investigation into Scott's disappearance in Temple, Bloomington Police have been looking at Marks in their investigation. They said they are gathering information from the Temple Police Department to help with their case.

Jenna Scott and Michael Swearingin have been missing since Jan. 4. Scott had a protective order out against Marks.

Marks has also been arrested in Michigan for burglary of a habitation. Temple police said that in August of 2018, Marks had broken into Scott's home and threatened her.

The Bell County District Attorney is working on extradited him back to Texas.
