DENTON COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

A GoFundMe has been created for the family of two North Texas teens who were found dead Wednesday morning.

Two missing teenagers were found dead in a submerged car in Denton County on Wednesday morning, according to Fox4.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said that they received a call about a car upside down in a creek near Hickory Creek Rd and Country Club Rd. Investigators believe the car went off the road for some reason and then went over an embankment, flipping into the creek.

Rescuers recovered the bodies of the teens, identified as 17-year-old Diego Rivera and 14-year-old Daniel Rivera.

According to social media, the teens have been missing since Tuesday after family members discovered their phones were unresponsive.
