COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M’s Otaro Alaka, Kingsley Keke and Erik McCoy were selected to play in the prestigious Reese’s Senior Bowl held at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event. It annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.

The game allows scouts, player personnel staff, general managers and head coaches from all 32 NFL teams to attend practices, conduct player interviews and review tape.

Alaka led the defense with 79 tackles and 14.5 tackles for loss in his final season in Aggieland. The Houston native posted 4.0 sacks while forcing a fumble and breaking up a pass. For his career, Alaka recorded 276 tackles, 40.0 TFL and 11.5 sacks with an interception and five forced fumbles.

A starter in all 13 games, Keke terrorized opposing offensive lines as he tallied 51 tackles, 11.0 TFL and 7.0 sacks. Keke, who earned the Mr. Versatile Award at the team’s annual banquet, registered a forced fumble, a pass break up and four quarterback hurries.

McCoy, a fourth-year junior graduate who recently declared for the 2019 NFL Draft, started at center in all 13 games and helped lead the way for the SEC’s leading rusher in Trayveon Williams. The Aggie offense finished 15th nationally at 471.6 yards per game and fourth in the SEC.

Reese’s Senior Bowl week begins on Monday, Jan. 21 and practices will be on Tuesday (Jan. 22), Wednesday (Jan. 23) and Thursday (Jan. 24) at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. All three practices and the game will be televised live by NFL Network.
