A woman was arrested over the weekend for her involvement in a Bell County crash more than one year ago.

According to the arrest affidavit, Corie Bogan failed to stop at a three-way stop sign intersection on the Interstate 35 service road, hitting a car with two passengers on in April 2017.

The passenger in the car lost several teeth and dislocated her jaw as a result of the collision, the affidavit says.

Texas Department of Public Transportation troopers responded and said Bogan smelled of alcohol, had red, glassy eyes and mumbled when she spoke.

Bogan was taken to the hospital for treatment, where she also had her blood tested. The affidavit says Bogan's blood alcohol concentration was 0.182, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.

A warrant for her arrest was issued on June 9, 2017. More than a year later, on Dec. 15, 2018, Bogan was arrested for intoxication assault with a vehicle.

She has since bonded out of the Bell County Jail.
