University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball player Sarah Paolini has been named to the Google Cloud/CoSIDA Division III Academic All-America Second Team released Wednesday. This is the second consecutive Academic All-American honor for Paolini.

A junior from Kalispell, Montana (Stillwater Christian H.S.), Paolini holds a 4.0 as a nursing major at UMHB. She is a three-time American Southwest Conference All-West Division honoree and was named to the All-ASC team for the second straight year this season. Paolini hit .355 this season with 289 kills. She added 136 blocks, 38 digs and five service aces. Paolini will also claim ASC Academic All-Conference honors again this fall and is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII team member.

The Cru volleyball team won the ASC Championship this season advanced to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Division III National Championships. UMHB finished the year 28-5 overall and went 15-0 in ASC play.
