Authorities need help looking for a 52-year-old sex offender who is on the Texas 10 most wanted sex offenders list.
Pete Luna, 52, is a convicted sex offender with ties to Navarro County, including the City of Corsicana.
In 1992, Luna was convicted in Navarro County for aggravated sexual assault of a child after an incident with an 8-year-old. He was sentenced to 10 years in TDCJ prison.
Luna was released in 2002 and was required to register as a sex offender for life.
In March 2018, the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Luna’s arrest for sexual abuse of a child. Corsicana police also issued a warrant for Luna’s arrest in October 2018 for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
The reward for Luna increased to $8,000 for information leading to his arrest on April 3.
