COLLEGE STATION, TX (KXXV) -

A 20-year-old College Station woman was arrested after police said that she crashed into a pole and tried to go through a McDonald's drive-thru lane, while also having a small child in the car.

College Station police said the incident happened Saturday night at the McDonald's located on Texas Avenue South. Police said a witness had told them that the woman crashed into a pole and had pulled into the drive-thru lane. When police arrived on scene, the woman, Shadow Dunn, was still in the drive-thru lane.

Police noticed that Dunn was intoxicated and that a three-year-old child was in the vehicle.

Dunn was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with a child passenger. The child was released into the custody of a family member.

Dunn is being held at the Brazos County Jail.
