The College of Visual and Performing Arts came together in their first ever event as one at UMHB.

The first annual A Very Mary Hardin Baylor Christmas program brought all groups of the college together in a single effort, bringing holiday cheer to all those in attendance.

This new tradition of UMHB was the brainchild of Kathryn Fouse, the new Dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

At the end of her first year on campus, she explained her excitement when she realizing her inspiration could be utilized here at the UMHB campus and in the brand new Sue and Frank Mayborn Performing Arts Center.

Fouse hopes that this night is a new tradition on the campus, and can be given as one of the first gifts of the Christmas season to the people of Belton.

The event had carolers, musicians, painters, ceramists and more. Each and every type of art and student had a perfect place to represent their contribution to the college.
